Instead of putting up walls, we should be tearing them down

I must be sincere, in these past weeks I have received praise & many a compliment for my sincerity & this has made me extremely happy.

At times, I still run upon comments claiming, "Heather Parisi is always causing trouble & biting the hand that fed her" and, I just don't get it.

"Other" colleagues can say whatever they please (maybe because they are Italian?!) without reason, but me, no; I am not allowed (maybe because I am NOT Italian?!).

I lived for 30 years in Italy, I married an Italian and, all of my children are not only American but, are Italian as well. I don't need to demonstrate my love for this country.

But I will forever be a Citizen of the World and I love everywhere I go.

Instead of putting up walls, we should be tearing them down,

instead of looking to see why we are so different, we should be looking to see what we have in common.

Ma la gente Heather non sa nemmeno usare o interpretare l’Italiano figurati le altre lingue. Tu non solo non hai sputato nel piatto ma hai diffuso nel mondo una delle tante grandezze del nostro popolo che appunto il cibo. Poi most importantly tutto quello che hai fatto e pure mangiato con gusto meritato non l’hai fatto per te stessa ma per tutta l’Italia ed il mondo intero. Le canzoni e gli spettacoli scaricabili ovunque di chi sono? Sono nostri dove nei nostri ci sei anche tu. Last but not least ma vi rendete conto quante volte Heather ha portato ll’Italia su un piatto d’oro parlando bene ovunque e se tel volta ha espresso un giudizio negativo era a fin di bene perché Heather non e vendicativa ma costruttiva e positiva per scelta e per natura. Heather I love you for ever and ever up to the end of the world. A massive hug from her loved Italy ALFONSO 💚
