Grand Battement

"Shit, you didn't kick your leg up !!!"

This is the comment, said to me by an ex dancer, lent as a producer, immediately after my performance of the first taping of Nemicamatissima.

At that exact moment, I was speechless.

To be truly honest, I did do a kick or two, discreetly I might add, in "Disco Bambina" & "Crilù". Without showing off, of course, because dance is a lot more that just a Grand Battement.

To be honest, I am exclusively the only one who will decide when and, on what occasion, to do it.

Carissima la mia Heather, io sono da SEMPRE convinta che le più prestigiose scuole di Danza Classica del mondo dovrebbero studiarti e farti studiare. Il tuo talento, la tua preparazione, la tua tecnica sono irraggiungibili e, pertanto, insuperabili. Tu hai fatto la storia della Danza e tu SEI la Danza. E io, credimi honey, so cosa dico. Tutto il resto, è noia...again.
