Lawmaker apologizes ....

Akihiro Suzuki, a lawmaker from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's ruling party, admitted to shouting a sex taunt at Ayaka Shiomura, 35 years old, a young assemblywoman, during a debate on motherhood.

In a case that has cast a harsh spotlight on the attitudes of many of the older men who occupy senior positions in Japanese public life, the 51 year old Suzuki said he yelled "Why don't you get married?"...

After bowing embarrassingly in a public apology in front of many a journalist, he resigned his party membership but will stay on as an assemblyman.

I will be simple...in Japan, the frosty mentality is out of the ordinary and we cannot, whatsoever understand their formal and aloof manner.....their way of seeing life is an unapproachable ritual.

However, something is missing within us and of those who work in a public office in Italy....even a glimmer of their dignity .....

Al li là di ogni giudizio morale / “moralistico” sul comportamento umano mi piace che ci sia della gente civile. In Italia, ma secondo anche in Europa, e forse meno in Usa c’è una sorta di “incivilizzazzione” che non mi piace affatto.

Bambini che non sono educati a dar la mano quando si incontra una persona nuova, che non salutano, pedoni che passano col rosso con grave pericolo per loro e chi giuda, chi chiama al telefono e non si presenta, chi non bussa prima di entrare, ecc, la lista è infinità.

Non vorrei essere frainteso non è ciò che ho appena accennato che “fa un uomo o una donna” ma il fatto che tali comportamenti “minimi” nemmeno ci siano sono un cattivo indice e forse forieri di comportamenti ancora peggiori.

Mi dispiace che stiamo degenerando in questo modo. Come sempre dico Emergenza EDUCAZIONE. Costa fatica ma rende il modo migliore e più bello.
