Chinese children's eyesight ....

This Primary school has given a new meaning to the phrase "raise the bar". The institution has literally put these metal bars on all students' desks. Headmaster, Zhang Jianming of Zhang Lin Elementary School said that the bars were installed by the City Teen Anti-Myopia Office.

It may not be immediately apparent what the purpose of them is. But teachers have said that they will prevent children "from damaging their eyes" by ensuring that they hold their books at an appropriate distance while reading .....

The bars can also be used for resting the books on, as well as keeping childrens' eyes a safe distance from their books.

I am always in awe by certain Chinese methods ..... we must admit that they are original .....

Che mito che sei :) solo tu riesci a scovare queste news.

Comunque ho fatto vedere il tuo post ad un mio amico cinese e mi ha detto che è anche un modo per migliorare la postura.
Mah? Però tutto ciò che è utile e non troppo invasivo per migliorare la salute di OGGI e di DOMANI ben venga.

La cosa mi incuriosisce e "diverte". Più che per la vista, secondo me, serve per una corretta posizione ortopedica. Anche perché, se non ci vedi, hai bisogno degli occhiali... non è che più stai distante più metti a fuoco...anzi! Comunque, in Italia, si sarebbe già gridato allo scandalo mobilitando psicologi, terapeuti, magari anche l'unicef...
