Bolshoi Dancer acid attack.....

Pavel Dmitrichenko joined the Bolshoi Ballet as a teenager in 2002 and made his name playing villains such as Ivan, the Terrible.....but reality took its toll this time around ....

He has been sentenced to 6 years in a high-security prison for ordering an acid attack that nearly blinded Sergei Filin, the artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet.

He has also tarnished the reputation of one of the most important and prestigious Classical Ballet companies in the world.

During my life in the classical dance world, I have never heard of such an act. Yes, I remember always being younger than the other ballerinas in my classes and maybe didn't get the part that I desired, even though I knew deep down that I was better than many. But, I was only 14 years old and the dancers who got the role were 21....but paying a man to throw acid into someone's face is out of this world to me!! Nor I or one of the other students would never have even thought of such a tragic deed.

Hard work, fatique and commitment, these are my only rules,

Dmitrichenko admitted to sending the "bad guy", Yuri Zarutsky, to punch him up and teach him a lesson. And, Zarutsky admitted to being the masked acid attacker, saying the idea of damaging Sergei with acid, was actually totally his.

Filin who is 43 yars old, was left with severe burns to his eyes and face and is blind in one eye and can see 10% from the other. He has had 22 operations.

They had been fighting, with words, that is, for a long time. The prosecution said that Dmitrichenko had been motivated by a conflict with Filin. It has been said that he and his girlfriend, Anzhelina Vorontsova, had been denied roles.

Caramba ... l’INVIDIA gioca brutti scherzi. E’ davvero incredibile quando vedi una persona che vale e dalla quale potresti imparare invece che imitarla, seguirla per diventare migliore talvolta scatta l’invidia ovvero non “desiderare ciò che l’altro ha” ma “ desiderare che l’altro NON abbia quello che ha”.
Ma le conseguenze di un tale comportamento sono inevitabili: rabbia e forse (che non sarebbe male) dolore e tristezza.

Cara Heather, non c'e' niente da fare. Ogni volta che ci sono manifestazioni italiane 'per eccellenza', tipo Sanremo, il tuo nome salta sempre fuori.
Che si tratti di un cenno o di una citazione o di semplici ricordi, dall'articolo del giornalista alla chiacchiera con gli amici, la nostalgia di vedere su un palco importante italiano una artista del tuo livello, che sappia far sognare, danzando, che abbia quell'innata empatia col pubblico televisivo, mai volgare, sorridente e, cosa non per molti, che non si prenda troppo sul serio, pur sapendo fare cose serissime , esclusive per pochi , o meglio, per pochi che nascono con un talento vero. . .

insomma. .. .

Ad ogni modo mi spiace moltissimo per il ballerino sfigurato, in casi come questi anche la Danza, intesa come arte, perde.

Ci sono persone cattive dentro. Ci sono persone malate nell'animo. E gli invidiosi. Quelli che gli "altri" sono sempre raccomandati. Ma si può arrivare a tanto??? Deficiente...
